New gear
nabbed this jacket at 70% off, couldn’t pass up the deal.  Made by Sessions, it’s an awesome snowboard jacket with one extra feature:  speakers embedded within the collar.  You hook up your ipod to a connection within the jacket and you even have a control panel in the sleeve to skip/pause songs.  i love it. Was looking at new kicks, but not likely going to buy any, but still fun...

Snow Research
When I get an itch, I tend to research a shitload.  So in my previous post I mentioned that some of my gear was showing some age, therefore I went into research mode and found some sexy looking snow clothes that makes me want to put myself into further debt. I’ve decided to look exclusively at burton’s lineup of gear because simply put whenever I’m on the slopes and I see...

Winter Wonderland
Great weekend.  I love the people that I got to spend a snowboarding trip (first of many) with.   Keywords -  Powder -  Good People -  Half Shaving -  Good Food -  Secret Santa -  Alcohol -  Sexy Cabin -  Salt -  Uphill Driveways -  Snow Chains -  Seriously Snow Chains (my finger is mangled because of one) -  People that like to stop in the middle of a trail.  GO TO HELL Every...

Cyrano Agency
I had mentioned Cyrano Agency in one of my previous posts.  I just want to leave you a quote from the film and in the context of the film, it was very powerful: “The Bible says of Trust, Hope, and Love, the greatest of these is Love I didn’t know what this meant, I thought trust was the most important I was so stupid. I didn’t trust you once, and so we drifted apart I...

Creative horror story!
The setup for this horror story scare tactic is nothing really new, but the execution had me applauding.  Well done! I encourage you to try it out, but be warned, it can startle you. http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=350217

Cyrano Agency
I miss watching old sappy asian flicks.  So recently after I did a run once again with My Sassy Girl and Battle Royale and I Saw the Devil, I realized there’s not many asian comedy films I’ve seen recently.  The past few I’ve seen are either really macho aggressive (Crows Zero) or action oriented (The Man From Nowhere).  Granted they were all incredibly entertaining and...

Google Chrome
I’ve always been a fan of Mozilla’s Firefox.  Their add-ons are forward thinking, and are usually full of great service.  However, from day ONE their problem has always been severe memory leaks.   Last night, I had left firefox on for several hours while typing up my homework.  Then on a break I tried to watch some youtube videos, and I had incessant skipping/laggy performance.  At...

Computer Information Systems
So far for our final projects in the core CIS training module: I’ve setup a dual server domain, with three workstations and had them interface with a second domain.  All connected via static routing and serial cables to routers and switches. Then we did it again this time with Four domains and we installed Active Directory Services and DNS services on all servers.  I fucking hope I get...

Death of My PC
Last night during an epic game of SC2, where I teched to fast banshees and was doing some sick harass, my comp just shut down.  Some parts in my PC are over 4 years old, so I figured it was one of those parts that led to the shutdown.  I’ve only done minimal upgrades over time, mainly because I like to run my computer on stock as much as possible.  Running stock assures that heat...

50/50
http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/review-5050-tiff-2011- I have never cried when watching a movie ever.  Not during a disney movie, not during a movie that someone told me that it was tearjerker, NOT EVER.  I cried watching 50/50 Let me tell you how this film “hit home” for me.  First of all, I should give a brief overview of the film.  It’s about Joseph Gordon Levitt dealing...
