Unrequited Love
After watching a few episodes of my new favorite Korean Drama “Iris,” they featured one of my favorite subplots in most tv shows and films and even literary works:
The Unrequited Love Interest
I love that angle because it has the capacity and potential to be incredibly hilarious, heart breaking, and emotionally fulfilling.
Great examples of hilarious and heartbreaking has to be...

One More Thing
I’ve said it before, but it needs stating once again.
If you started to workout with the concept that you want to “look good” and you want to fit a body image and do all these stupid fucking little things because you adhere to a socially created self concept then I’m sorry:
GET THE FUCK OUT
I’m not fucking joking. Quit now.
Because if there’s anything...
Divergence Part 3: "Life"
Yes I’ve neglected friends at will. I have chosen not to hang out with people because really I have no reason to go other than just to be with friends having a good time. For some that’s enough, for me I told myself no.
I apologize for not being there. I’m truly sorry and if I had it my way, I would have been there for when one friend left his longtime gf and started dating...
Divergence Part 2 "School"
The other major situation in my life has been my education:
Right now there are 2 major obstacles to overcome:
1. Getting my certifications: A+ N+ and Sec+
2. Sprinting for that Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems
To start, this mod (Coleman’s way of saying quarters/semesters) I elected NOT to attend the courses. What I love about the technical school is I can do my...
Divergence Part 1 "Work"
I can sense something big about to happen. I’ve suddenly found myself surrounded by a lot of deadlines with some big moves and changes that have recently occurred.
First, changes at work:
(Talk of work is usually strictly prohibited, but I say fuck it. My words need to be heard)
As of March I was promoted to Family Room Specialist from Red Zone Specialist. The jump takes me from the...

Soldier On
I consider myself pretty tough at times, and I truthfully believe I have a high pain tolerance. However, a recurring injury is something that FUCKING SUCKS BALLS.
I originally sprained my neck a few years ago and had to be medically treated to reduce the swelling around the area where my neck and shoulders meet. I couldn’t move my head left or right and could not look down. My only...
Running Man
I’ve been meaning to write about this show and tout how great a watch it is and how much I truly recommend the show. The numerous awards it has won since it’s inception and the great chemistry between the cast are many of the things I would point out to a curious viewer debating on watching the show.
Beginning in the summer of 2010, the Korean Variety show that features various...
Creating a Beast
It’s time to create a new computer. My current computer has served me well, but the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale has seen it fall behind many new processors to the point that even Starcraft 2 can have issues sometimes. However, my old comp will be converted into a media machine and I plan to hook it up to my hdtv and play movies on it.
If anything, the PSU failure I had a few months...

New gear
nabbed this jacket at 70% off, couldn’t pass up the deal. Made by Sessions, it’s an awesome snowboard jacket with one extra feature: speakers embedded within the collar. You hook up your ipod to a connection within the jacket and you even have a control panel in the sleeve to skip/pause songs. i love it.
Was looking at new kicks, but not likely going to buy any, but still fun...

Snow Research
When I get an itch, I tend to research a shitload. So in my previous post I mentioned that some of my gear was showing some age, therefore I went into research mode and found some sexy looking snow clothes that makes me want to put myself into further debt.
I’ve decided to look exclusively at burton’s lineup of gear because simply put whenever I’m on the slopes and I see...
Winter Wonderland
Great weekend. I love the people that I got to spend a snowboarding trip (first of many) with.

It’s stories like these that had stole my attention into sociology
Cyrano Agency
I had mentioned Cyrano Agency in one of my previous posts. I just want to leave you a quote from the film and in the context of the film, it was very powerful:
“The Bible says of Trust, Hope, and Love, the greatest of these is Love
I didn’t know what this meant, I thought trust was the most important
I was so stupid.
I didn’t trust you once, and so we drifted apart
I...
Creative horror story!
The setup for this horror story scare tactic is nothing really new, but the execution had me applauding. Well done!
I encourage you to try it out, but be warned, it can startle you.

Cyrano Agency
I miss watching old sappy asian flicks. So recently after I did a run once again with My Sassy Girl and Battle Royale and I Saw the Devil, I realized there’s not many asian comedy films I’ve seen recently.
The past few I’ve seen are either really macho aggressive (Crows Zero) or action oriented (The Man From Nowhere). Granted they were all incredibly entertaining and...

Google Chrome
I’ve always been a fan of Mozilla’s Firefox. Their add-ons are forward thinking, and are usually full of great service. However, from day ONE their problem has always been severe memory leaks.
Last night, I had left firefox on for several hours while typing up my homework. Then on a break I tried to watch some youtube videos, and I had incessant skipping/laggy performance. At...
Computer Information Systems
So far for our final projects in the core CIS training module:
I’ve setup a dual server domain, with three workstations and had them interface with a second domain. All connected via static routing and serial cables to routers and switches.
Then we did it again this time with Four domains and we installed Active Directory Services and DNS services on all servers.
I fucking hope I get...
